	ARRA 100 The Swiss auto magazine AUTOMOBIL REVUE (AR) has reached its hundredth year of existence! Being the only Swiss design company working for international car manufacturers and OEM suppliers, Protoscar wanted to testify its appreciation and gratitude towards AR, and has therefore offered a particular present for celebrating this unique event: an interactive dedicated digital car design development. The "ARRA100" project will start at the GENEVA MOTORSHOW (02.03.06-12.03.06), where visitors of the special AR exhibition (hall 4, booth 4020) will be invited to choose among 3 different basic concept proposals. By the way: the 3 basic concepts have been realized according to specifications elaborated by the AR journalists, who all have been involved since last December in defining the first three basic concepts.

	1. Crocodile “Multifunctionality” is the key word of this centrally driven hybrid monospace, enabled to use multi-fuels. The name of the first basic concept reflects the main feature given by the innovative structure able to unfold and transform the car into a multimedia living space. The flexible body and the electrically driven and completely turnable rear wheels allow to “opening” the Crocodile passenger compartment into an office, shop, meeting-room, club-house, etc.

	2. Flex-Cruiser The specification elaborated by AR journalists for the second proposal required an even more advanced concept and the result gave a product between a car and a motorbike. Spheres instead of wheels were suggested – with the ability to climb steps, park the vehicle sideward and turn it 360° on place! Like an accordion the vehicle’s inflatable body it transforms from a rather aerodynamic shape into a full size good-carrier or enlarge it’s seating capabilities from 1 to 6 passengers.

	3. Bio-Nick For the 3rd concept Protoscar got “carte blanche” giving us no restrictions at all. We have elaborated the bionic-based idea of an “egg”. The third concept is clearly inspired by the most rational shape in terms of structural characteristics, aerodynamics, volume/surface ration and safety. Everything is downsized to the minimum necessary: 3 wheels instead of 4, hub less wheels, a portion of body sliding away both for entering into the car and transforming it into a cabriolet –without classical doors. And battery-electric traction system on the rear-wheel would give this vehicle zero emission capability.
