Protoscar at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este

Protoscar participated with the "911 Shooting Brake". The famouse "Coppa d'Oro di Villa d'Este" was held the first time on the 1^st of September 1929. Traditionally made for classic historical cars, a few years ago the competition was opened also to a restricted number of show cars.

09.30 - 14.30 Exhibition of the cars in the gardens of Villa d'Este,
Public Referendum for the "Coppa d’Oro Villa d’Este" and for the "Design Award Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este" for concept cars and prototypes. Examination of the cars by the Jury
12.00 - 14.00 Buffet Lunch, Villa d'Este
14.30 - 18.00 Parade in the gardens of Villa d’Este in front of the Jury and invited guest.
Award ceremony of the "Coppa dOro Villa d'Este" and special awards for vintage cars. "Design Award Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este" for concept cars and prototypes
20.00 Transfer to Villa Erba by boat
20.30 Dinner at Villa Antica on Villa Erba grounds
22.45 Transfer back to Villa d’Este by boat

Sunday, April 24^th 2005 (public day)
08.30 Transfer of all cars to Villa Erba
09.30 - 14.00 Exhibition of the cars at Villa Erba. Examination of the cars by the Jury
Public Referendum for the "BMW Italia Trophy“. Examination of the cars by the Jury
09.30 - 10.15 Parade of BMW cars and Rolls-Royce cars
12.00 - 14.00 Lunch at La Rotonda
13.30 - 14.00 75 Years Pininfarina Parade
14.00 - 18.00 Parade of the cars in front of the Jury and the public.
Award ceremonies of the "BMW Italia Trophy", the class winners for vintage cars and the "BMW Group Design Award" for concept cars and prototypes.
17.00 - 17.30 Transfer back to Villa d’Este
20.30 Gala Dinner, Villa d’Este
Award ceremony for the BMW Group Trophy
