GM Live Design Studio

At Geneva 2004 we participate with our designers and students of the Strate College to the realization of the GM Live Design Studio.

The idea was to organize a live event, where it was possible to explain, to the motorshow visitors, the design process of a car.

Protoscar has several years of experience in live design demonstrations, e.g. Geneva 1997, Tokyo 1997, Frankfurt 2003.

The object was the active interaction with the public, which was projected in the design world and in the realization of works together with the staff.

The booth area was divided in 3 zones:

Zone 1: Modelling & Tape Drawing
This area was dedicated to the activities of clay modelling and tape drawing.

Zone 2: Sketching
This area was dedicated to the interaction with some designers and students.

Zone 3: Computer Design
This area was dedicated to the development of the design projectsfrom 2D to 3D dimensions using the innovative Wacom Cintiq Tablet studied to be used with Alias Studio Tools.
