"F600 HYGENIUS" exhibit
CleanCar are often difficult to understand for people that visit motorshows, because of the totally new technologies. Thus, it is important to communicate the research & development innovations in an easy way. DaimlerChrysler selected Protoscar for the conception and realisation of a new, interactive, technical exhibit first shown at IAA 2007, in Frankfurt. The goal was to support technical staff explaining the latest fuel cell technologies. The exhibit is based on the DaimlerChrysler F600 HYGENIUS fuel cell prototype. The main components of F600 HYGENIUS are shown in real and explained by virtual animations, selectables by the technical explainer, using a touch screen. When a topic is selected, the animation describing it is played on the screen and in the mean time the related physical component is highlighted together with a light track connecting it to the screen. Additional animations and movies show the current fuel cell activities and the future fuel cell and hydrogen-economy visions from a DaimlerChrysler point of view.
